490 poster
This scan is of a poster produced by North American Aviation, an advertisement Red's father found in a magazine for North American Aviation. This came out at a time the guys in the squadron were not allowed to write home with their whereabouts!

Editor's Note: The Clan McLeod provided us with a beautiful replica of this poster at the 1998 490th reunion in Nashville, TN!

'Red' Fisher was impressed, as were many, many others, by the beauty and the hazards of the Himalayan peaks which the G.I.s labeled "the Hump".
